DNA tests are for informational purposes and are self-collected unless otherwise noted. Legal and immigration DNA tests require an in-person, ID-verified collection at an approved network location; instructions are included with your order confirmation. No physician review is required for these tests.
This is the legal, chain-of-custody version of maternity testing. Because the result may be used in court, for a birth certificate or other legal matters, every participant’s cheek swab is collected in person by a neutral third party who verifies photo ID and documents the process.
After you order, you will receive instructions to schedule your collection at a network location. Results are typically ready 3-5 business days after all samples are received at the lab.
